Senior Software Engineer | Marshmallow
I love solving problems with technology. However, when it comes to building software it’s never about “I” only. That’s why I decided to be an engineer, who not only focuses on the code in front of me, but on the whole process of effectively building products that solve real problems and that the whole team can be proud of. As a leader, I believe in leading by example and with empathy: Happy developers lead to performant teams and drive impact for any company. It is also equally important that we build something that we firmly believe will deliver meaningful value to customers in quick iterations. When I go hands-on, I prefer working on the backend following functional programming principles, however I can adapt to any programming language quickly. My most recent favourite is TypeScript, but Scala/Java are also languages I am happy to work with at anytime. In my free time, I read books about Team Management, Psychology and Software Development processes. Recently, I took a few months of career break and relocated back to my home country as part of leading by example: Your team's (mental) health should always be a top priority, including you. I LOVE cats. 🐈
