I build the part of software integrations that most teams underestimate—the messy 80% that starts after the happy-path demo. Legacy APIs, inconsistent documentation, authentication, reconciliation, production edge cases, and operational tooling are where I spend most of my time. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Payments team at Delivery Hero (a global food-delivery group operating across 70+ markets), I lead payment gateway integrations end-to-end, working with Stripe, Adyen, Airwallex, Razorpay, and Cybersource. Beyond integrating APIs, I build the internal platforms that enable merchants, Finance, and operations teams to manage these systems without engineering involvement. I built our merchant-facing configuration portal (EMCS), allowing non-technical teams to onboard merchants, configure payment methods and commissions, and manage operational settings that previously required developer support. Although my title is Full Stack Engineer, the work is effectively Forward Deployed Engineering: partnering with merchants, Finance, and product teams to translate ambiguous business requirements into production systems, shipping both backend integrations and customer-facing interfaces, and owning them throughout their lifecycle.
