The aim of the project was to support businesses in proactively managing, maintaining and improving their vessel's value. The software was built to improve the reliability, safety, and efficiency of marine operations by continuously monitoring the health of critical onboard equipment. Problem definition: The software company has developed Web Application to monitor the health of critical onboard equipment. However, they had received numerous customer complaints about bugs and usability issues. So, the company wanted to improve quality of their product through manual and automation testing. Analysis of the problem: Performance Issues: The software tends to slow down or freeze while generating large size pdf Validation Errors: Users encounter validation errors even when providing correct input. Functional Testing: Test all interactive elements, buttons, forms & user inputs to ensure they work as required. Test transaction initiation, approval & cancellation workflows. Cross Browser issues: The software was not functioning correctly across various browsers. Actions: To address identified issues, We did the plan of following actions: Developed a comprehensive test plan: Created a test plan that includes test objectives, test scenario & test cases to cover the identified issues. Functional and Integration Testing: Designed and executed system test cases for functional and interface testing to incorporate critical scenario. Cross browser testing: Tester Perform cross browser testing using automation to ensure application functions correctly across various web browsers. Logged bug details, generated bug reports and reported details to the development team for follow-up Worked closely with software developer to ensure that software component meet the highest quality standards. Involved in bug tracking and reporting using Azure DevOps. Results: After the testing project is completed, the following results are observed: Through cross browser testing several browser related issues are identified and reported to development team for fixing. Integration testing: Automated tests helped to identify issues in data exchange. Validation errors: Multiple validation issues are detected during the test execution. The team logs this issues and worked with the developers to resolve them Cross Browser Testing: Application started working correctly across various browsers. Problem Definition: The software company has developed application to perform electronic payment transactions. To improve the quality of product we have performed manual testing on it. Analysis of the problem: I did analysis of the customer complaints and identifies several key issues including: Functional Testing: Test all interactive elements, buttons, forms & user inputs to ensure they work as required. Test transaction initiation, approval & cancellation workflows. Validation Errors: Users encounter validation errors even when providing correct input. Performance Issues: The software tends to slow down sometimes. Actions: To address the identified issues we did the following planning. Developed a comprehensive test plan: Created a test plan that includes test objectives, test scenario & test cases to cover the identified issues. Conducted functional testing: Performed functional testing of application to check if it is behaving as per expectations. Conducted security testing: Tester perform security testing to ensure that sensitive data is appropriately encrypted on the front end. Performance testing: Test the front end's responsiveness and loading time. Results: After completion of testing of project, following results are observed: Validation errors: Multiple validation issues are detected during the test execution. The team logs this issues and worked with the developers to resolve them. Performance issues: Load testing helped identify specific scenarios causing performance degradation.
