Hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 – Customer Service Module: I have 4.7 years of hands-on experience in QA, with extensive exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 – Customer Service Module during my role at Virus Positive Technologies (July 2020 – January 2025). My key responsibilities included: Performing functional, regression, and integration testing on CRM modules, primarily around case management, workflows, and entity behaviors. Validating form-level customizations including: JavaScript event handling (e.g., field validations, on-load/on-save logic). Business rules for UI-level conditional logic and field behavior. Plugin validations, especially during entity creation or updates. Testing custom and standard entities, ensuring workflows and business process flows (BPFs) functioned per business requirements. Collaborating closely with internal developers and eBay domain teams to log, track, and resolve defects via Jira. 2. Exposure to Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Pages): I have basic to intermediate exposure to Power Platform, primarily from a testing and validation perspective: Power Automate (Flows): Validated flows triggered by CRM events (e.g., case creation, status updates). Supported debugging for failed flows and collaborated with developers to resolve integration issues. Power Pages (Portals): While I haven't worked directly on portal development, I understand the architecture and have tested data flow and access control between D365 and portals during integration testing phases. 3. Test management and defect tracking tools used along with D365: I have actively used the following tools in my QA roles: Jira: For test management, defect tracking, sprint planning, and communication with product/development teams. Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM: For case handling and validation. Postman: For REST API testing, including endpoints exposed by D365 and integrated third-party services. While I haven't used Azure DevOps extensively, I'm familiar with its workflows and can quickly adapt to it, given my experience in test planning and defect lifecycle management. 4. Involvement in UAT and production deployment validations: Yes, I have actively participated in: UAT support and execution for feature rollouts and customizations in the D365 environment. Smoke testing and validation post-production deployment, particularly for workflows, entity updates, and integration flows. Reporting critical production issues and validating hotfixes after deployment to ensure minimum downtime and proper SLA adherence.
