Built a responsive note-taking web app using the MERN stack, allowing users to perform full Create, Read, Update, and Delete operations via a custom REST API. Integrated rate limiting middleware using Upstash and Redis to protect the server from abuse by limiting users to 100 requests per minute. Organized the backend using an MVC (Model-View-Controller) pattern with Mongoose schemas for structured data validation and environment variables for secure credential management.
