• 2+ years of dedicated experience as a SOC Analyst, demonstrating strong alignment with the target role.
• Proficiency with leading SIEM/EDR platforms including Wazuh, SentinelOne, Rapid7, CrowdStrike Falcon, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
• Hands-on experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) using tools like Nessus, Nmap, Burp Suite, and Metasploit.
• Solid understanding of network security fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Firewalls, OSI model) and endpoint protection.
• Experience in core SOC competencies: alert triage, incident response, threat hunting, log analysis, and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and OWASP Top 10 risks.
• Project experience in deploying and administering Wazuh SIEM, including log integration, normalization, and dashboard design.
• Relevant certifications including CompTIA Security+ and Qualys VMDR, with CEH pursuing.
