Created two custom object Employee and Leave Application, developed Master and Lookup relationship between them. Implemented validation rules and created workflow for leave management by sending an automated email to manager for leave approval. Created two record type for the employee to differentiate between permanent and temporary employee and assigned different page layouts to both type of employees. Created an approval process for updating the status of leave application as approval or rejected after its get approval or rejected and update the leave balance of the employee(deduct approval leaves).
