API Server for Container Cloud
July 1, 2016 – Present
API Server is the key part(microservice) of Private Container Cloud, providing HTTP APIs for other services and dashboard, including APIs for managing containers, storages, CI/CD etc. In the project, my responsibilities are: 1. Establishing REST API specifications and code base; 2. Establishing code standards, Go toolchains and testing routine; 3. Implementing some APIs (e.g. Access Control).
Admin Dashbaord for Container Cloud
March 1, 2016 – Present
The Project is part of Private Container Cloud (Version 1), designed for administrators. The project is web project written with Go language and AngularJS, currently under maintainment. In the project, my responsibilities are: 1. implementing the backend (by myself) and most of the frontend; 2. introducing AngularJS, which saved a lot of effort; 3. maintainment, including bugfix and minor feature update.
Research on Kubernetes
October 1, 2015 – Present
Kubernetes is an open-source system for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications initially written by Google. My job is to do research on its features, put into practice and integrate into existing cloud products. Details are as the following: 1. Research and discovery kubernetes related projects (e.g. prometheus, etcd), and make evaluations; 2. Adapting Kubernetes to IBM Power Architecture; 3. Tracking the trends of container technology (docker, kubernetes, etc.) and translating good ones into Chinese.
API Server for Quantitive Trading
September 1, 2014 – April 1, 2015
The Project provides traders a programmable interface. It is made up of two parts: API Server and Client Library. In the project, my responsibilities are: 1. Participation in the development of API Server written with C++ and Boost Library; 2. Leading the development of C++ client Library; 3. Development of C# (CLR), Java(JNI), and Python(Boost python) Client Library.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has worked in diverse technical environments, from cloud computing startups to large tech companies like ByteDance and Grab, indicating adaptability. Their involvement in open-source research (Kubernetes) and tracking technology trends suggests a growth mindset. The breadth of technologies and domains (container cloud, quantitative trading, ad systems) points to a versatile individual who can integrate into different team cultures and contribute across various projects. The numerous Coursera certifications, particularly in algorithms, data structures, and machine learning, demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement, which aligns well with a culture of innovation.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's project descriptions indicate a proactive approach to introducing new technologies (AngularJS) and establishing code standards. Their experience in leading development efforts suggests strong ownership and technical leadership potential. The diverse project portfolio implies adaptability and a willingness to tackle varied technical challenges. However, without psychometric test results, a detailed assessment of work attitude, stress handling, and team collaboration is not possible.
