Engineering Manager at Linktree
I discovered my passion for technology while I was still in high school. Always a tinkerer as a kid, I found myself obsessed with taking things apart to see how they worked and trying to put them back together again. The first time I wrote a line of code was in middle school with a lego robotics kit. As soon as I saw how changing some of the prompts could change the output of the program, I was totally hooked. I was lucky enough to have a lot of productive avenues to apply my newfound obsession as a kid through various tech classes & clubs, and eventually, I started my career doing all things web related. Shortly after starting my first part-time job, I discovered WordPress and fell in love with the simplicity and power of the platform, as well as the support I was able to get from the community. I'm thrilled to have built all sorts of cool things throughout my career, and for all of the amazing people I've met along the way. Lately, I've been focused on expanding my technical abilities beyond just PHP & WordPress, as I've been getting back to what really makes me passionate about software... solving problems. Whether it's a technical problem or a people problem, I'm energized by working with people to understand the root of the issue and collaborate on coming up with an elegant solution.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has worked in diverse environments, from agencies (Fruition, Figmints) to large tech companies (NerdWallet, Linktree), indicating adaptability. Their experience with WordPress and various client verticals (e-commerce, government, healthcare) shows a broad exposure to different business needs. The progression into management roles suggests a potential fit for leadership-oriented cultures, but also a strong technical background relevant for individual contributor roles. The target role of 'Frontend Developer' aligns well with their core technical experience, despite recent management roles.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's career progression to Engineering Manager roles suggests strong leadership, team collaboration, and project management skills. Experience in managing content platforms implies an understanding of operational workflows and stakeholder communication. However, without specific psychometric test results, a detailed assessment of logical reasoning, work attitude, and stress handling is not possible.
