I've worked primarily as a backend software engineer. I have experience in a variety of languages (I've worked with Python for several years now, and I also know C++ and C), a variety of databases (I've used RDBMSs such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as MongoDB and Cassandra). I've also worked with HTML/CSS/JS. I've helped develop and deploy services implementing RESTful HTTP APIs for consumption by mobile devices, web frontends, as well as other internal backend services. Primarily worked with Linux (Ubuntu, Gentoo). Experimenting in Rust presently, and would love to learn more.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has worked at a diverse range of companies, from large corporations (Google, Intel) to smaller tech firms (HouseCanary, Commure), suggesting adaptability to different organizational cultures. The long tenure at Commure (5+ years) indicates stability. However, the target role is 'Frontend Developer', while the candidate's experience is predominantly backend. This misalignment suggests a potential cultural fit challenge if the candidate is not genuinely interested in or prepared for a full transition to frontend, or if the company culture values deep specialization.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's resume highlights responsibilities in design, implementation, testing, and devops, indicating a strong operational fit for roles requiring end-to-end ownership. Experience with team code reviews and supporting mobile developers suggests collaborative skills. However, specific soft skill demonstrations are not explicitly detailed.
