StudentPerformancePrediction
March 1, 2025 – April 1, 2025
Built a student performance prediction model using machine learning to estimate GPA with 99.99 percentage accuracy. Conducted data analysis on 500 student records to identify key academic success factors. Compared multiple ML algorithms (Linear Regression, Random Forest, SVM, KNN) to determine the optimal predictive model. Utilized Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib) for end-to-end data analysis and visualization. Provided actionable insights to educators for early identification of at-risk students.
OnlineOrdersDetailsAnalysis
February 1, 2025 – March 1, 2025
Cleaned and transformed 541910 rows × 8 columns of sales and customer data using Power Query in Power BI. Built data model relationships between “Orders” and “Details" tables for accurate aggregations and filtering. Created multiple interactive visualizations including bar charts, line charts, pie charts, tree map, and geospatial maps to visualize profit trends and category performance. Implemented DAX measures to calculate key KPIs such as Sum of Profit, Sum of Quantity, and Profit by Month for performance monitoring. Designed slicers and filters (State, Quarter, Payment Mode) for dynamic report interactivity and user-driven analysis. Developed map-based visualization to analyze sales and profit distribution across Indian states. Built drill-through and cross-page navigation features for seamless data exploration and insight discovery. Enabled clear business insights like identifying top-performing categories (Clothing, Electronics) and analyzing profit trends by region and month.
HRAnalyticsDashboard
November 1, 2024 – December 1, 2024
Cleaned and transformed HR data from an Excel/CSV source and created derived features such as Age Group, Salary Slab, and Years At Company for analysis. Implemented core DAX measures and calculated columns for KPIs: Employee Count (1,470), Attrition (237), Attrition Rate (16.1%), Avg. Age (37), Avg. Salary (6.5K), and Avg. Tenure (7 years). Designed an interactive Power BI report with KPI cards, donut/pie charts, bar charts, line charts and tabular drill-through to analyze attrition by age, education, job role, salary slab and tenure. Identified high-risk cohorts (e.g., 26–35 age group, specific job roles such as Laboratory Technician / Sales Executive) and salary bands with disproportionate attrition—enabling targeted retention strategies. Built user-friendly filters and slicers (Department / Job Role / Age Group / Salary Slab) for self-service exploration by HR and business managers. Improved insights delivery by combining summary KPIs with role-level detail tables and trend charts—supported ad-hoc root-cause analysis for attrition. Documented data dictionary and created a reproducible ETL flow in Power Query for future refresh and handoff.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's academic projects demonstrate a strong interest in data analytics and visualization, aligning well with a Data Analyst role. The diversity of projects (student performance, online orders, HR analytics) shows a broad application of data analysis skills. However, the lack of professional experience and the academic nature of all projects might indicate a need for mentorship and adaptation to a corporate environment. The psychometric test score is 0, which is insufficient to assess logical reasoning, work attitude, stress handling, or team collaboration.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's project descriptions indicate an ability to translate technical analysis into business insights, suggesting good communication and problem-solving skills. The focus on user-friendly reports and actionable insights aligns with operational needs for data-driven decision-making. The English test score of 71 indicates a reasonable level of communication clarity.
