Developed a scalable telemedicine platform that enables patients to consult doctors online, book appointments, manage prescriptions, and order medicines through a secure digital healthcare system. Implemented role-based authentication and authorization using Spring Security with JWT to ensure secure access for patients, doctors, and administrators. Designed and developed RESTful APIs for doctor management, patient profiles, appointment scheduling, prescription uploads, and medicine ordering with cart functionality. Integrated a payment gateway to support secure online transactions for consultations and medicine purchases. The application follows a modular backend architecture using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and MySQL, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and secure handling of healthcare data. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. AUTHENTICATION & SECURITY: Implemented secure authentication and authorization using Spring Security and JWT tokens. Role-based access control for Admin, Doctor, and Patient modules. Secured REST APIs using token-based authentication and implemented password encryption. 2.PATIENT MODULE: Developed patient registration and profile management.
