Developer bij Friday Digital Agency
My school/work journey: I started in a metal shaping course (welding, milling, shaping) during my pre-vocational secondary education. I noticed that I liked working with computers during that time. After completing the course I went to do an secondary vocational education in IT. After finishing the first course (general IT helpdesk) I went on to the second course for server management IT. During those school days I came in touch with PHP and started developing soms websites for friends and family. Media design with interactive webdesign as specilization was my next course. After completing this course, I tought about my next step and decided to delve more into the code, taking on a bachelors degree in software enginering. After completing 2 years and finishing an minor in online marketing in my 3rd year, I noticed that I wanted to work instead of going to school. We are now in 2017 and I was looking for an career as front-end developer. During my internship at EDC (now EQOM) I got reconized for my skills as back-end developer. They offered me a job and I accepted. Since then I became more knowledgeable in PHP and liked working with API's to connect the business to different platforms. (api's like MailChimp, CanopyDeploy (now Deploytech), PayPal, Pay.nl, Exact and a few others). I also worked on some internal tools to help marketing plan discount campaings and more. After a few years I noticed the challenge was gone and within EQOM I had some chances to grow in other directions. I worked on a few business cases trying out a role as technical analyst. This was fun an new, but I missed coding to much. During that time I became a proud father of a lovely daughter. I became more accustomed to working from home and really appreciate the moments being with my family in the hours between work. Next to work and family a lot of my free time goes into renovating our

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has a long and varied career path, including freelance work and transitioning to a partner company, which suggests an entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability. The diverse educational background, from MBO to Bachelor's in IT and a minor in Online Marketing, indicates a commitment to continuous learning. However, the primary experience is heavily backend-focused (PHP, X++, D365), which is not a direct match for a 'Frontend Developer' target role. While there's mention of 'Front-end work' during an internship in 2013-2014, recent experience does not align with modern frontend technologies. This misalignment could impact cultural fit within a dedicated frontend team.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience includes working in Scrum and Kanban methodologies, indicating familiarity with agile development processes. Freelance work and transitioning to a partner company (Ridan) suggest initiative and adaptability. The detailed descriptions of responsibilities at EDC Retail B.V. show a structured approach to problem-solving and project execution. However, there is no direct evidence of communication skills or team collaboration from the provided data, as psychometric and English test scores are 0.
