VP Engineering, Activation, Segmentation, Infrastructure, Quality Engineering & Global SRE teams
With over two decades of experience, I have honed my skills in spearheading diverse and global engineering teams across various sectors of the software industry. My expertise primarily lies in Cloud Infrastructure, Production Engineering, Big Data Infrastructure, Quality Engineering, Data Privacy, Big Data Management Platforms, General AI, and Shared Services. I have successfully led numerous global, distributed teams within the Infrastructure organization, focusing on Cloud Infrastructure management. My leadership extended to various Tech Excellence programs, including CI/CD, Observability, Security Ops, BCDR, and General AI tooling, all aimed at enhancing internal productivity and customer experience. I have directed the development of Shared Services teams, covering Billing & Metrics, Authentication, Application Experience, and Data Compliance. These efforts have significantly facilitated product development through shared services. Under my management, the Data Management platform teams have seen substantial improvements in Big Data processing, including Ingestion, Dataset Management, and Data Transformation. These improvements have led to reduced data processing latency, enhanced service availability, and optimized cloud costs. For over three years, I spearheaded the Cloud FinOps program at LiveRamp, achieving significant cloud and software cost optimizations and advancing FinOps maturity through automated reporting and tracking. I have led the Quality Engineering team, focusing on observability, release QE, and Customer Issue Management, thereby enabling high-quality production releases. I have been the executive sponsor for the LiveRamp Global Hackathon for more than three years. I have played a pivotal role as the Engineering Lead for the Global Expansion (Engineering) initiative at LiveRamp.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's career progression through various leadership roles at LiveRamp, TiVo, and Symantec, coupled with their involvement in global expansion and cloud partnerships, demonstrates adaptability and a proactive approach to organizational growth. Their focus on establishing teams and processes from scratch, as seen at Reviver Auto, indicates an entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset. The breadth of experience across different company sizes and product types (e.g., IPTV, Mobility Management, Enterprise Software) suggests a versatile individual who can thrive in diverse environments. However, the recent roles are heavily focused on management and strategy rather than hands-on test automation, which might require a shift in focus for a pure 'Test Automation Engineer' role.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's extensive experience in leading global engineering teams, establishing processes, and driving initiatives like Cloud FinOps and AI tool adoption suggests strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational management skills. Their focus on quality, reliability, and efficiency aligns well with a senior engineering role requiring both technical depth and managerial acumen. The descriptions highlight collaboration with CTO groups and customer liaison, indicating strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
