CI/CD Pipeline with Jenkins, Docker & GitHub
June 29, 2026 – Present
Built a fully automated CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins that triggers on every GitHub push via webhooks. Dockerized a Python web application by writing a custom Dockerfile, building the image, and pushing it to Docker Hub. Configured Jenkins pipeline stages: Code Checkout → Build Docker Image → Run Tests → Push to Registry → Deploy Container. Used Shell scripting to automate Docker container cleanup and deployment on a Linux server. Reduced manual deployment steps to zero, demonstrating end-to-end automation of the software delivery process.
Kubernetes Deployment with Helm on AWS EC2
June 29, 2026 – Present
Set up a Kubernetes cluster (kubeadm) on AWS EC2 instances with one master node and two worker nodes. Containerized a Node.js application using Docker and deployed it as a Kubernetes Deployment with 3 replicas for high availability. Created Kubernetes manifests (Deployment, Service, ConfigMap, Namespace) and managed releases using Helm charts. Configured a LoadBalancer Service on AWS to expose the application externally and validated auto-scaling with Horizontal Pod Autoscaler (HPA). Monitored pod health, resource utilization, and logs using kubectl commands and AWS CloudWatch.
Infrastructure Provisioning with Terraform on AWS
June 29, 2026 – Present
Wrote Terraform configuration files (.tf) to provision AWS infrastructure including VPC, subnets, EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and IAM roles. Managed Terraform state remotely using an S3 backend to enable team collaboration and prevent state conflicts. Implemented IAM least-privilege policies to secure EC2 and S3 access, following AWS security best practices. Set up CloudWatch alarms for CPU utilization and instance health checks on provisioned EC2 instances. Destroyed and re-provisioned infrastructure using terraform destroy and terraform apply to demonstrate IaC repeatability.
Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's profile shows a strong alignment with a DevOps culture, emphasizing automation, scalability, and continuous delivery. The personal projects demonstrate initiative and a passion for learning and applying new technologies. The breadth of skills across various DevOps domains (CI/CD, IaC, Containerization, Cloud) indicates a versatile and adaptable mindset. However, as a fresher, the candidate lacks professional experience in diverse team environments or large-scale enterprise projects, which could impact cultural integration in a more established team.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's extracurricular activities, such as volunteering and bootcamp participation, suggest a proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to collaborate. The project descriptions indicate an understanding of end-to-end automation and system reliability, which are crucial for operational fit in a DevOps role. However, as a fresher, direct professional experience in team collaboration and handling production incidents is not yet demonstrated.
