AI Engineer with less than a year in NLP, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
I am an AI/ML-focused Computer Science student at Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC University), currently pursuing my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. From the earliest days of my academic journey, I was drawn not just to writing code, but to building systems that think — systems that can read documents, understand language, retrieve knowledge, and make decisions. That curiosity has shaped everything I have done since, from my coursework to my personal projects to the direction I am taking my career. My primary domain is Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with a particular focus on Natural Language Processing, deep learning, and reinforcement learning. Over the past year, I have moved beyond tutorials and toy datasets to build production-ready solutions — systems that handle real workloads, process real documents, and deliver measurable results. I believe the true test of an engineer is not just whether they understand a concept, but whether they can deploy it reliably at scale. That has been my benchmark for everything I build. One of my most significant recent projects is a Multi-Task AI System — a versatile NLP toolkit capable of executing over 10 distinct language tasks using Hugging Face Transformers. Built in under 5,000 lines of code, it integrates state-of-the-art pre-trained models including BERT, GPT-2, T5, and BART, with automated tokenization, inference optimization, and GPU acceleration for real-time predictions. What makes this project especially meaningful to me is the comparative benchmarking framework I built alongside it — a system that evaluates multiple models per task and enables data-driven selection based on accuracy, speed, and resource requirements. This taught me that building AI is only half the job; understanding which AI to deploy, and why, is equally critical.

Multi-Task AI System
June 1, 2026 – Present
Developed versatile AI toolkit executing 10+ NLP tasks using Hugging Face Transformers, demonstrating rapid prototyping and deployment of SOTA models with less than 5K lines of code. Integrated pre-trained transformer models (BERT, GPT-2, T5, BART) with automated tokenization, inference optimization, and GPU acceleration for real-time predictions. Created comparative analysis framework benchmarking multiple models per task, enabling data-driven model selection based on accuracy, speed, and resource requirements.
Intelligent Document Automation: Building a Smart OCR Bot
June 1, 2026 – Present
Built OCR automation system processing 500+ documents/hour with 95% accuracy, reducing manual data entry time by 80% using Tesseract, OpenCV, and spaCy NLP. Engineered computer vision pipeline with adaptive preprocessing (deskewing, noise reduction, edge detection) achieving 92% extraction accuracy on low-quality scanned documents. Implemented intelligent entity extraction for invoices, forms, and receipts, automatically structuring unstructured data into JSON/CSV formats with validation rules. Deployed production-ready solution handling 10+ document types across finance, legal, and healthcare domains, saving 15+ hours/week in processing workflows.
