I am a Principal Product Manager at Microsoft, focused on the intersection of Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric/OneLake. I lead the integration that lets thousands of enterprises use both platforms seamlessly, from security and governance to cross-company architecture. This means driving alignment across Microsoft and Databricks engineering and product teams to ship together as one. I also own OneLake shortcut transformations, a zero-ETL approach that turns raw files into analytics-ready Delta tables without pipelines, copies, or complexity. Earlier, I joined Azure Databricks when few customers had heard of it and helped build it into the largest big data service on Azure. Before that, I led the Spark and Hadoop stack on ML Server, working at the intersection of machine learning and big data before it was fashionable. That thread connects everything I have done: making powerful data and ML technologies accessible and production-ready for real enterprises. My career has spanned the full stack and scale spectrum, from the Oracle database kernel to large consumer web properties like MSN serving millions of users monthly, to enterprise platforms in financial services, energy, and manufacturing. I gravitate toward the hard, cross-platform problems where the real customer friction lives.
