The OMS is a core backend system of an E-commerce platform that manages the complete lifecycle of customer orders. It handles order creation, payment processing, inventory updates, shipment allocation, returns, cancellations, and refunds. The system integrates with multiple services such as Payment Gateway, Warehouse Management, Shipment/Logistics, and Return Management. Performed sanity test and after sanity testing, following up all the scrum testers to test and fix the related defects. Responsible for testing deliverables, prioritizes and monitors activities to meet such dates for individual assigned features. Identified End to End Test Scenarios, Test Cases and Test Data. Writing effective and optimized Test Cases in clickup using Black Box Testing techniques. Execution of test cases from Test Lab in clickup tool. Identification of defects, registering them in JIRA and reporting them to the onsite lead. Performing Functional Testing, Regression Testing and Re-Testing. Validation of Expected output vs Actual output in respective database tables using SQL. Preparing transition document for other team members.
