I• In our project we have right now worked on the sensor part which would help in detecting the obstacles indoors and alert the person. • Next we would be working on the wireless part in which we would develop such a provision for the person, that if he or she is lost then their location would be sent to the police station and also to one of their family members which would act as an warning alarm to them and they can reach out to the concerned person to help him. • For this we would be making use of the module SIM-908 in which the concepts of GSM, GPS and GPRS will be used and the additions in the project will be done accordingly • Other than this there will be a text to speech converter module which will help the person read the books. • Other than this various other facilities like keeping a check of heart beats and also use the stick to help them walk outdoors and use the concept of navigation by using the maps, by means of well defined programming and coding and a few others that can be added to this project and give this new concept a new dimension and make it much more handy and also effective.
