UI Design - Reaten - Original Design
June 27, 2026 – Present
Background: Avid readers often face a disjointed experience when forcing to switch between standalone e-reading apps and separate audiobook platforms. Reaten solves this by introducing a premium, buy to own marketplace similar to Apple Books that seamlessly unifies visual reading and high quality audio narration within a single, integrated platform. How: By designing an original, comprehensive end-to-end user experience tailored for modern book enthusiasts. I established a thorough design methodology that encompasses deep user research to balance text-and-audio synchronization, intuitive interaction architecture to manage digital purchases, and a polished user interface optimized for long, comfortable reading sessions. Expected outcome: The project delivers a sophisticated and highly immersive digital reading concept that bridges the gap between text and sound. Reaten provides users with complete digital ownership of their literary collection, offering a premium, distraction-free environment that elevates how people consume and enjoy books today.
UI Design - Redesign K-24 Klik
June 27, 2026 – Present
Background: In its early version, the K24Klik app lacked a real-time tracking feature, leaving users unable to monitor the driver's location during medicine delivery. This opacity caused user anxiety regarding delivery timelines, especially given the urgent nature of pharmaceutical products. How: By executing a comprehensive product development lifecycle, starting with deep UX research to understand user behavior and anxieties. This was followed by defining the UX framework and interaction design, and finally creating high-fidelity UI designs that integrate an intuitive live-tracking map interface. Expected outcome: The project aims to deliver a seamless, user-centric experience that eliminates delivery uncertainty. By allowing users to track their drivers effortlessly, the app enhances user reassurance, improves overall satisfaction, and builds greater reliability for urgent medical needs.
UX Research Plan
June 27, 2026 – Present
Enhancing User Experience in the Product Refund Process. Background: Users frequently reported friction during Tokopedia's refund process, feeling that the system disproportionately favors sellers. This issue stems from the lack of a transparent dispute/appeal mechanism for buyers during a rejection. Currently, a refund is only deemed successful if the buyer and seller mutually agree beforehand, leaving buyers with little recourse when disputes arise. How: By redesigning the refund workflow to introduce a transparent, human-mediated appeal system. This introduces a dedicated discussion space where real human administrators - rather than automated chatbots - act as neutral mediators to review evidence from both parties fairly. Expected outcome: The project aims to restore user confidence and trust in the platform by ensuring a secure, equitable shopping experience. By providing a reliable dispute resolution framework, users will feel more protected and confident when making future purchases.
UI Design - MZX-Original Design
June 27, 2026 – Present
Background: Traditional music streaming platforms often tie users to recurring monthly subscriptions just to enjoy high-quality audio. Inspired by Spotify's interface but leveraging Apple Music's premium ecosystem, MZX introduces a lifetime-access model where users can purchase music outright, eliminating the burden of continuous subscription fees to access the best audio quality. How: By establishing a comprehensive, user-centered design lifecycle from scratch. I conducted deep UX Research (UXR) to understand user preferences regarding digital ownership, defined the UX Design (UXD) framework to ensure seamless navigation between streaming and purchasing, and crafted a polished UI Design (UID) that balances familiarity with a distinct identity. Expected outcome: The project delivers an innovative, original music platform concept that empowers users with true digital ownership. By combining the intuitive discovery features of top-tier streaming services with a transparent, buy-to-own model, MZX offers a unique, high-quality, and cost-effective listening experience.
Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's projects demonstrate a proactive and innovative mindset, tackling diverse problem spaces from e-commerce refunds to music streaming and e-reading. This diversity, coupled with the creation of original concepts, suggests a strong drive for learning and contribution, which can be a good cultural fit for dynamic teams. The 'Junior UI/UX Designer & Junior Creative Planner' self-description indicates a blend of analytical and creative interests. However, the professional experience is largely outside of core UI/UX roles, which might indicate a transition or self-taught path into design. The 'Head of Event' and 'Material Division' roles suggest organizational and leadership potential, which could be beneficial for team collaboration.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's project descriptions highlight a methodical approach to design, emphasizing understanding user behavior, defining frameworks, and iterative design. This suggests strong analytical and problem-solving skills, crucial for operational fit in a design role. The 'How I Think' section further reinforces a user-focused process. However, the professional experience listed (Head of Event, Material Division, Publication & Documentation) does not directly align with UI/UX operational roles, making it difficult to assess direct soft skills in a professional design context.
