Developed an end-to-end unsupervised NLP pipeline to classify genuine vs. fake product reviews from an unlabelled headphones dataset, handling the full workflow from raw text to final predictions. Applied text preprocessing techniques - tokenization, stopword removal, and lemmatization (NLTK) followed by TF-IDF vectorization (500 features) to convert reviews into numerical representations. Trained an Isolation Forest anomaly detection model (contamination=0.15) and engineered a rule-based red-flag layer (excessive punctuation, repetitive words, reviews under 3 words) for hybrid multi-signal classification. Delivered explainable outputs with Prediction and Reason columns per review, enabling interpretable results without labelled training data.
