Over the past decade, I have worked at the exact intersection where law meets emerging technology – as a practitioner who shaped the field from the inside, and as a critic who scrutinized it in print. As a senior lawyer at PwC Legal, I introduced AI law as a dedicated practice area before the EU AI Act existed, co-designed AI tools for legal applications, published peer-reviewed case annotations on the regulatory frameworks I helped clients navigate, and advised the German Federal Government on data protection in the context of digital identity systems. That dual position - builder and observer - shaped a conviction I now carry into everything I do: the most important questions about AI cannot be answered by just looking at it from the outside. Today, through Laura Reuters GmbH and as a systemic and consciousness coach, I work at the frontier of systemic logic, organizational transformation, and the deeper human capacity that strategy alone cannot reach. To my opinion, the influence of AI on democratic systems can only be approached by understanding people and collective dynamics since democracy's state power derives from people.
