Automatic meter inference and tracking in musical pieces with time varying meters

⦁ Synthesized a percussion based dataset containing audio files, each representative of metrical changes and proposed novel evaluation strategies to account for the identified meter and changes in meter. ⦁ The main contribution of this project lies in tweaking the state of the art in meter inference and tracking to account for metrical changes, more specifically learning about a Dynamic Bayesian Network that jointly estimates tempo, beat and downbeat positions.
