CEO@Verdantis (Agentic AI for Enterprise Asset Management) | 20+ yrs building software businesses | ex-SAP | IIM Indore
I am building Verdantis to rebuild Enterprise Asset Management- one of the largest, most under-digitized line items in the global industrial economy with agentic AI at its core. Industrial businesses spend hundreds of billions of dollars every year on maintenance, reliability, and spare-parts operations. Most of that spend still runs through systems designed in the 1990s, where reliability engineers, maintenance planners, and MRO buyers are bottlenecked by data that's fragmented, dirty, and reactive. Agentic AI changes the unit economics of that work. That's the bet we're making at Verdantis. I came to this from two decades of building enterprise software businesses across India and APJ. At SAP where I spent 12 years I led the Tata Group & Reliance relationship, headed Public sector and Strategic Industries, served as Country Manager for SAP Concur in India, and most recently led Spend Management strategy for APJ. Before SAP I was at Bristlecone in supply chain, and started my career in strategy consulting at Kurt Salmon. PGP from IIM Indore, B.E. from Delhi College of Engineering. What I've learned across those roles: the real unlocks in industrial software don't come from better UI layered on legacy data, they come from rethinking the underlying workflow. That conviction is what Verdantis is built on. If you're operating in industrial AI, EAM, MRO, reliability, or asset-intensive industries or you're an investor or operator thinking about this space, I'd enjoy comparing notes.
