Innovation, R&D + Emerging Tech @ ADQ | Value Creation | Corporate Innovation | Venture Building & Investing
I'm currently inside a $300B sovereign wealth fund, designing the portfolio-wide systems for opportunity identification, capital allocation and innovation enablement across 20+ operating companies including Etihad, TAQA, AD Ports, PureHealth, Silal and Aramex. Across 18 years I've launched 50+ new services, products and ventures from first hypothesis through validation, build, launch and commercial scale. Tested 500+ propositions. 90% of what I've taken to market has either reached commercial adoption or secured follow-on funding. Three of my ventures at IPG secured $45M in combined Series A. The top performer went from concept to $20M ARR in 18 months. I've founded and grown three businesses from zero. A digital product studio (383) from 3 to 30+ people with a FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 client roster. A business experimentation practice (Future Foundry) serving Salesforce, Microsoft, Mars, Hilton, Reckitt, Orsted, USPS, HSBC, P&G and Kingfisher across three continents. The UK's first place-based venture studio (Curzon Street Ventures), where I led the £4M fundraise from public and private sources including the West Midlands Combined Authority and Rigby Group. Along the way I designed Velocity, a repeatable experimentation methodology that compresses 0-to-1 validation from quarters to weeks and reduces validation costs by up to 80%. Adopted as the standard inside multiple Fortune 500 organisations. Taught to 200+ practitioners with an 85 NPS. AI is in most of what I do. I've deployed it across robotics and computer vision (sovereign fund portfolio), predictive analytics and IoT (JCB), AI-powered sales automation (Agentforce/Salesforce), personalisation engines (Avon), clinical AI (CareFlow) and digital twins. I know where it creates real commercial value at portfolio scale and how to structure the experiments to prove it. What I do well: spotting where the value i
