Spoken Letter Classification using SNN

Spiking neural networks (SNN) are the third generation of neural networks used to model neural activity. In this project I used an SNN to identify spoken letters of the English alphabet. The goal of this project was to research the viability of using SNNs as a means of audio classification and whether or not it would prove to be an effective model of how our brains interpret/hear sounds.
