band+aid is a mobile application designed to bring world-class music education to middle and high-school band students. Many schools across the country suffer from staffing and or budget issues, and music directors are not able to provide specialized instruction for each type of band instrument. band+aid offers instruction in the form of courses that contain various instructional videos. These courses are specific to both instrument type and difficulty level.
View ProjectCultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's projects show a strong inclination towards personal initiatives and hackathons, indicating a proactive and self-driven individual. The diversity of projects, including those with social impact (e.g., 'Drive-Cleaners', 'band-aid', 'Find-My-Pet'), suggests a candidate who might value purpose-driven work. However, the current experience level (0) and the single future-dated 'Data Scientist' role at UC Berkeley make it difficult to fully assess cultural fit for an immediate senior role. The projects are varied, but many are hackathon-based, which might not reflect sustained, long-term project engagement.
