Mixed Signal Verification Engineer at MELEXIS
Recently my role in the Melexis company changed to work as a Mixed Signal Verification Engineer.. I'm working to cross check by simulation the functionality of our integrated circuits for the hardware interaction (analog and digital parts) and with the software part. Previously I was a senior analog layout engineer with 16+ years experience of layout in deep sub-micron CMOS technologies. Most recently, I have been working on the magnetic sensitive current detectors and magnetic sensitive position detectors mainly link to the automotive. I had the responsibility of all the top and the layout interactions. In function of the availability of layouters, I dispatched the tasks between the layouters linked to the projects. We worked in analog on top and I have the charge to prepare the digital part (form factor, pin placements, memory IPs positions) with its integration in the analog part. Before I worked on the layout of sensitive RF blocks operating in the range 2.4GHz - 10GHz in 28nm and 40nm. I have a good understanding of RF/analog layout constraints and work in close collaboration with the designer to achieve a fully optimized layout. I work hard to find innovative solutions to manage layout constraints at block level and top level. Able to work to tight schedules, I am pro-active in improving the efficiency of the layout flow. My experience also spans developing complex and large analog chips for Audio IP (in multiple package types), with responsibilities for top level layout. This is complemented with experience of developing a standard-cell library, and using place& route tools for simple digital macros. Motivated to continue developing analog/RF layout expertise, I am a strong team player and am highly engaged in my work.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has a long history in analog/RF layout, with a recent transition to Mixed Signal Verification. While the target role aligns with the recent experience, the majority of the career has been in a different, albeit related, domain. The lack of project diversity and detailed descriptions makes it difficult to fully assess cultural fit beyond the technical domain. The candidate has worked for several companies, indicating adaptability.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's resume highlights collaboration with designers, which suggests good teamwork and communication skills. The long tenure in layout roles indicates attention to detail and precision. However, specific soft skills and operational fit cannot be fully assessed without psychometric test results or interview data.
