Ethan Hadar

For over three decades, my professional trajectory has been dedicated to the synthesis of deep academic inquiry and robust industrial application. I operate at the intersection of theoretical excellence and tangible technological deployment, fostering innovations that transform complex research into scalable market solutions. Currently, I am the co-founder of a stealth startup for optimization of AI systems, and I serve as the Founding Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Advanced Computing at the University of Kiryat Shmona and the Galilee. These initiatives are designed to cultivate a direct pipeline of elite talent and research to bolster the technological infrastructure of the northern periphery of Israel. My perspective is informed by extensive leadership tenures at Accenture, CA Technologies, IBM, and HP, where I held positions including Managing Director, Chief Technology Officer, and Distinguished Engineer. This dual heritage of academic rigor and industrial leadership is evidenced by over 91 patents and 78 peer-reviewed publications. I hold a PhD in Operations Research and System Analysis from the Technion. I am committed to advancing industry solutions in AI Engineering and Optimization, Knowledge Engineering, and Robotics, AI-Teaming and Cyber, while driving academic research through the Center for Autonomous Systems and Robotics and the Digital Twin Science and Engineering center, and the Human-AI Teaming center.
