SafeRoad.today (University project)
November 1, 2016 – May 1, 2017
Paper : Optimizing Traffic Enforcement: From the Lab to the Roads As part of my university project, I've developed SafeRoad.today system using an algorithm of Bar-Ilan researchers. The system is an open-access system, which is mounted on the popular Google maps interface. Users can access the website and review the risk in each road segment in Israel in 1-hour time frames discretized into 5 risk levels – “very low”, “low”, “average”, “high” and “very high”. User can query the system for routes to take him from one point to another using the regular Google maps interface. Once a query for a route is made, in addition to the travel time and distance for each possible route provided by Google maps, the system provides a risk estimation for each route, enabling the driver to consider the safety factor in her route selection. Front end development using HTML, CSS, Javascript and javascript frameworks. Backend development using JAVA

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's diverse experience across different company sizes (IWP, SciPlay, Microsoft) and roles (Full Stack Developer, Back End Developer, Software Architect, Technical Lead) suggests adaptability. Their involvement in university projects and freelance work indicates initiative and a continuous learning mindset. However, the target role is 'iOS Developer', and the candidate's resume does not explicitly list any iOS or mobile development experience. This represents a significant gap in cultural fit for the specific target role, despite strong general technical leadership.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience as a Software Architect and Technical Lead at SciPlay and Microsoft, respectively, indicates strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills. Their role in defining coding standards and training suggests a focus on operational excellence and team development. The description of handling the entire development cycle implies strong project management and ownership.
