SAS to Python Migration

The objective of the project was to develop Python scripts that can replace the existing SAS scripts without affecting the outputs. Technology Used: Manual Testing, functional testing, performance testing, Snowflake, Databricks Roles and Responsibilities: • Responsible for testing transformed legacy SAS codes into optimized Python solutions • Verifying the proper usage of OOP concepts, SQL and various other libraries for achieving high- performance data processing with significantly reduced processing times, especially for big data sets. • Developed automated scripts to scan through the converted code and check if the outputs are matching. • Created testcases for both positive and negative scenarios. • Identified, documented, and tracked defects found during testing, and worked with developers to resolve them. • Assessed technical risks and ensured that software products adhere to strict quality standards.
