Experienced Backend Engineer with 9+ Years in API Development and Data Processing | NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker| Versatile Skill Set and Eager to Learn.
Hello there, this is me. I've been working as a backend engineer for over 9 years, which have allowed me to jump into new technologies and gain new skill-sets! My primary focus has been on maintaining and creating APIs, processing data, and delivering search experiences. It is fun as I continue to learn something new. Currently, I'm maintaining and developing our core system, where I use NodeJS with JavaScript and TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Google Cloud Platform on a daily basis. These tools help me deliver quality work and ensure that my tasks are completed efficiently. In the past, I've also worked with Erlang, MySQL, AWS, RabbitMQ, and Kubernetes. These skills have helped me grow and evolve as an engineer, and I'm grateful for the experiences that I've had. Erlang was especially fun, as functional programming forced me to aquire a completely differently mindset. On the more personal side, I view myself as a helpful and forthcoming teamplayer. Qua my educational background I have a strong analytic mindset and approach. As a worker I'm reliable and dedicated and always willing to learn. I take pride in delivering quality work and love taking on new challenges. Looking forward, I'm eager to push my skills to the next level, learn new skills, and have a healthy mix between operational tasks and developing new features. And if that future includes (personal) health technologies, nutrition, automation, or self-tracking you have my attention, as it would nicely tie my current career as developer to my past career as neuropedagogue. In my free time, you can find me home-cooking, biking, or relaxing in our summerhouse. I believe that a good work-life balance with a mix of remote and on site work is important, and I'm always looking for ways to improve in both areas. That is a little about me. What can you tell me about you?

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has a diverse educational background, including physics and nutrition, followed by a master's in software development. Professional experience includes backend engineering and Elasticsearch. While the target role is 'Frontend Developer', the candidate's recent and primary experience is in backend and search technologies. This indicates a potential mismatch with the target role's core requirements, suggesting a need for significant upskilling or a different role alignment. The lack of project details makes it difficult to assess passion or initiative beyond professional roles.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's resume indicates experience in teaching and guiding students, suggesting potential for mentorship and knowledge sharing. However, specific soft skills like teamwork, problem-solving, or adaptability are not explicitly detailed in the provided data. The long tenure at Tjek suggests stability.
