Warehouse Management System (WMS) – Shipping Process
June 10, 2026 – Present
Role: Software Test Engineer – Automation & Manual Testing Domain: Warehouse Management System (WMS) – Order Fulfilment & Shipping Technologies: Selenium WebDriver with Java, TestNG, Cucumber, SQL, Manual Testing, Jenkins, Git, JIRA. The Warehouse Management System (WMS) is a web-based enterprise application used to manage end-to-end warehouse operations such as order processing, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping. The Shipping module focuses on processing outbound orders, where items are picked from inventory, packed, labelled, and shipped to customers or distribution centres. The system integrates with external systems like ERP (SAP) and carrier services for shipment tracking and label generation. This module ensures accurate order fulfilment, shipment tracking, and delivery compliance, minimizing errors in dispatch and improving operational efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: Analyzed business requirements and prepared test scenarios and test cases for shipping workflows. Performed functional, regression, and system testing for outbound shipping modules. Automated test cases using Selenium WebDriver with Java, TestNG, and Page Object Model (POM). Validated end-to-end shipping flow: order creation → picking → packing → shipment confirmation. Tested label generation, shipment status updates, and carrier integration workflows. Performed database validation using SQL to verify order and shipment data consistency. Executed smoke and regression test suites for every build release. Integrated automation scripts with Jenkins CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing. Logged and tracked defects using JIRA and participated in defect triage meetings. Collaborated with developers, business analysts, and operations teams for issue resolution. Prepared test execution reports and supported UAT and release sign-off.
RFS (Web Modules)
June 10, 2026 – Present
Role: Software Engineer – Web & Mobile Testing Domain: Service Management Technologies: Automation Testing, Selenium Java, Manual Mobile Testing, Android, Web Testing. RFS is a cross-platform application designed to manage customer service operations, installation tracking, and warranty management. It enables real-time updates, workflow automation, and seamless communication between users and service teams. End-to-End RFS Flow: In our project, the RFS (Request for Service) flow represents the complete lifecycle of a service request from initiation to closure. The flow starts when a customer raises a service request through the application, typically for issues like installation, maintenance, or warranty support. Once the request is created, it gets logged in the system with a unique request ID and is routed to the appropriate service team based on location or service type. Next, the request is assigned to a technician or service engineer, who reviews the details and schedules the visit. The technician then performs the required service activity, such as installation or repair, and updates the request status in the system. If the request involves warranty validation, the system checks the warranty eligibility and coverage details before proceeding. In some cases, approvals may be required from higher authorities, especially for replacements or high-cost services. After the service is completed, the technician updates the status as resolved, and relevant details like service notes, parts used, and completion time are recorded. The customer may also receive a notification or provide feedback. Finally, the request is marked as closed after validation, ensuring all steps are completed successfully. Roles & Responsibilities: Analyzed business requirements, HLR & LLR documents. Designed test scenarios, test cases, and test data. Performed Functional, Regression, Integration, Sanity, Smoke, UI, and Usability Testing. Conducted mobile testing (Android & iOS) across multiple devices. Validated installation workflows, service requests, and warranty features. Performed compatibility testing across devices and OS versions. Reported and tracked defects using JIRA. Coordinated with developers for issue resolution. Prepared test reports and status updates. Supported environment setup and build validation.
