Staff Software Engineer @ PropertyScout
Hello! I'm a senior software engineer at PropertyScout with expertise in backend development using Node.js and .NET. In addition to day-to-day coding, I also mentor junior developers, provide technical specifications for tickets, and make architecture decisions for new projects. With experience managing small teams of 3-4 developers, I'm committed to fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment. I have extensive experience with Node.js, Typescript, and .NET, as well as relational databases such as Postgres, MySQL, and SQL Server. I've also worked with NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Azure Cosmos DB, as well as Elasticsearch, Azure CognitiveSearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS and Azure. My biggest accomplishment is designing and building the entire backend architecture for TheBlacksmith.io, a learning platform maintained by PRTR. It was built as a microservices based platform using Azure cloud with Azure Functions, Cognitive Search, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Media Services, and more. While working on TheBlacksmith.io, I managed a DevOps engineer and guided front-end and back-end developers. I'm passionate about clean software engineering practices and committed to continuously improving myself. I'm excited to explore new opportunities where I can leverage my experience and expertise to deliver innovative software solutions.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has worked in diverse companies ranging from startups (PropertyScout, BlockchainLabs.ai, Taskworld Inc., HotelQuickly Ltd, T2P) to larger corporations (Agoda). Their experience spans various industries (real estate, blockchain, project management, travel, payment gateway). While the target role is 'Data Analyst', the candidate's recent experience is heavily skewed towards 'Software Engineer' and 'Technical Lead' roles. The transition to a pure Data Analyst role might require a cultural shift in day-to-day responsibilities and focus. The breadth of skills and project diversity suggests adaptability, but the direct alignment with a dedicated Data Analyst role's typical responsibilities needs further validation.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience includes leadership roles (Staff Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead) where they mentored developers, conducted code reviews, and assisted product owners with data analysis. This indicates strong collaboration and communication skills, as well as an ability to contribute to operational processes beyond pure coding. The description of managing remote teams also suggests good organizational and communication skills in a distributed environment.
