Floor Plan Detection Model using YOLO

Developed an end-to-end deep learning pipeline to automatically detect and classify 16 architectural elements (doors, windows, rooms, stairs, bathrooms, etc.) from floor plan images using the YOLOv26 object detection framework. Annotated and prepared a dataset of 600 floor plan images using LabelMe, and built a custom Python script to convert COCO JSON annotations to YOLO polygon format with full data quality handling. Built a custom batch inference system that filters detections by target label, removes duplicates via IoU thresholding, overlays annotated bounding boxes, and generates summary statistics (count + confidence) per image. Evaluated model performance using standard computer vision metrics: mAP50, mAP50-95, Precision, and Recall.
UK Crime Score Model

Built a full-stack crime risk analysis system that ingests 6.3 million official UK police records (data.police.uk) spanning 13 months across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Designed a weighted scoring algorithm assigning severity weights (1-10) to 14 crime categories, normalizing results to a 0–100 risk score across 34,389 LSOA geographic zones. Automated bulk CSV ingestion of 548 data files into a MongoDB database using Python scripts with pymongo and pandas. Developed a Flask web dashboard with real-time postcode lookup (postcodes.io API), displaying crime score, risk label, property buy recommendation, doughnut/bar chart crime breakdown, and 5 nearest area comparisons.
