An Insurance Domain Project is a software application developed to manage and automate insurance-related processes such as policy management, customer data handling, premium calculation, claims processing, underwriting, and reporting. The system is designed to streamline operations for insurance companies (life, health, or general insurance) and improve customer service. My responsibilities included: Understanding the Client Requirements and functionality of the system. Writing and reviewing the test cases for automation and manual using GIVEN, WHEN AND THEN Format template. Involved in deriving test cases based on test Scenarios. Responsible for executing test cases and posting defects using defect management tool JIRA. I have used BDD Cucumber framework to automate the Scenarios. I have used different-2 tools for accessibility testing. Participated in sprint planning meetings, sprint review meetings, Product Backlog meeting. Active participation in Daily Scrum meetings and Defect Triage Meetings. Performing Manual testing for given requirements and deliver it to the client. Implemented CRUD operation using Postman. Involved in validating API response from the frontend with related to the status code. I have used Jira for raising the defect and attaching the automation reports in a particular story by creating the story. Developed feature files with clear Given-When-Then steps to align tests with business requirements. Collaborated closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to define acceptance criteria and translate them into executable test scripts.

My responsibilities included: Understanding the business requirements and specifications. Involved In Raising Effort and Estimation Creating Test Scripts according to the Test cases using Maven Project. Creating POM classes for Web pages of Web application. Performed negative testing and verified handling of 4xx and 5xx status codes. Involved in developing Generic libraries for Selenium Framework. Tested RESTful web services for functionality, performance, and reliability. Involved in creation of object repository using POM design pattern. Executed selenium test scripts using TestNG. Worked on Data Driven Testing and Data provider using TestNG. Involved in execution of Batch execution, parallel execution and Group execution for the scripts. Performed API testing for microservices using Postman to validate request/response payloads, status codes. and headers. Actively participated stand-up call for daily activities.
