I have strongly knowledge and project experience as a MongoDB Database Administrator, with hands-on experience in installation, configuration, replication, sharding, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and monitoring of MongoDB databases in production environments. In my current role, I manage MongoDB Replica Sets and Sharded Clusters across Dev, QA, and Production environments. My responsibilities include managing backups using mongodump and Ops Manager, implementing point-in-time recovery using oplog, monitoring replication lag, analyzing slow queries, and implementing indexing to improve performance. I have also worked on failover management, disaster recovery testing, database security using RBAC, and monitoring using Ops Manager, Prometheus, and Grafana. I am skilled in Linux environments, shell scripting, and AWS services such as EC2 and S3 for backup storage.
