American Express (Amex) is a global financial services company, best known for its credit cards, charge cards, and travel-related services. One of its traditional and popular travel products were Traveler's Cheques. They were prepaid paper cheques issued by American Express that travelers could use instead of cash while traveling internationally. American Express still honors old traveler's cheques and provides support for encashment in many locations. Supported migration related work which includes modifying online programs. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Analyzing and understanding of the program specifications. • Interacting with client for understanding the functional requirements. • Worked on extracting data by using File-Aid from IMSDB and by using sort cards in JCL converted Comp-3 data into readable csv file. Which is later extracted into excel for data analysis purpose. • Involved in different phases like Analysis, Coding, Unit Testing and deployment. • Prepared documents for Unit Test plans and unit test results. • Once testing is done responsible to move code into production by scheduling RFC (Request for Change) and after implementation validated the changes in production region. • Monitoring the jobs first after the changes are implemented in production. • Involved in auditing the different application to support decommission. • Monitoring the mails and responding to the important mails. • Attending the daily standup calls and providing updates related to the task.
